Meet Champ, an extraordinary 4-year-old Dachshund mix who has just joined our rescue family. This delightful boy came to us through no fault of his own, having been owner-surrendered. We're thrilled to have him and can't wait to help him find his perfect forever home.

Champ came to us with allergies but one shot has cleared all of his symptoms up he might need a shot once a year.

Here's what makes Champ so special:

• Champ gets along wonderfully with other dogs, making him a potential great addition to multi-pet households.
• He's a people-pleaser and enjoys human company.
• This well-behaved boy follows commands nicely and is well-mannered.
• Champ is crate-trained and has no issues spending time in his personal space when needed.
