My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Carmel and Bebe, two sweet, friendly, and old ladies.

Carmel and Bebe found themselves at AHSEM because their owner was admitted to hospice. These senior cats are the epitome of mellow, often found perching in high places, observing the world around them with a serene, chill demeanor.

Carmel and Bebe have lived their whole lives together inside. Don't let their age fool you, though. Their purrs are as vibrant as ever, echoing their warmth and contentment. They are healthy and happy, a testament to the care given by their previous owner.

They love cuddling up together, their bond a beautiful thing to see. Majestic and sweet, these old ladies are a delight to be around.

Adopting Carmel and Bebe means inviting a dose of calm, love, and companionship into your life. These two are sure to fill any home with gentle purrs and a whole lot of love.

These girls deserve a happy ending!

Carmel and Bebe are currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email ahsemadopt@yahoo.com.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
