My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet brothers from another mother - Patches and Butterscotch!

Two handsome, gentle souls that share an inseparable bond.
Butterscotch is the long-haired 7 year old boy. Patches is the short-haired 3 year old boy.

Patches has FIV+, which means he has a weakened immune system. He will need someone to keep up on his yearly vet checkups to make sure any concerns are caught early. Research shows that FIV cats may have a similar life expectancy to uninfected cats.

Patches and Butterscotch are the epitome of sweetness, offering love and loyalty to all they meet. Their outgoing personalities make them the life of the party, while their love for cuddles ensures quiet, loving moments.
Patches and Butterscotch are eager to find a forever home where they can share their love.

Adopting Patches and Butterscotch means gaining two loyal companions who will fill your life with warmth, playfulness, and unconditional love.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
