Meet Tommy!

This 4 year old tuxie was surrendered because he had an abscess on his neck and his people were going to euthanize him. Luckily for Tommy AHSEM was able to get his abscess treated and he is ready for a new home!

Tommy is a friendly companion, always ready to greet you with a soft purr and a gentle nudge. His sweetness is irresistible, making it impossible not to fall in love with him.

Tommy is a chill cat, content with simple pleasures like a warm lap or a sunny spot by the window. He's a handsome guy, his charm is undeniable. Adopt Tommy and bring a bundle of joy, laughter, and unconditional love into your life.

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.

Animal House of South East Michigan is a 501 (c)3 no-kill animal rescue organization. We work primarily with cats and dogs through adoption, owner assistance and community education. We are a non-profit rescue that is run entirely by volunteers. We work in partnership with our local PetSmart, located on Woodward Avenue in Royal Oak, MI.
