Meet Teremana, or Tere for short, a charming senior feline with a heart full of love.
Tere is ready to find her "forever" She is estimated to be between 8-10 years old. Her sweet, friendly demeanor will win you over in no time. She's a loyal companion, always ready to share a cozy afternoon or a playful moment.
Tere was found fighting to survive outside. She is full of stories; her behavior tells us that she was someone’s cat at some point. Due to her experiences with aggressive cats outside she will need to be an only cat. Tere keeps her distance from dogs too.
Teremana is a bit of a foodie! She relishes her meals and treats with gusto, despite missing a few teeth.
She prefers a peaceful environment, but does just fine with respectful children and the noise that life brings.
Tere is a pro at the indoor life! She love, love, loves all the pets and likes to play with her foster family. Tere likes to be held and is always down for a good brushing.
Tere has even gone to work with her foster mom! She has took on the role of office overseer with ease. She has enjoyed the attention and love from others.
Adopt Teremana, not just because she's a wonderful cat, but because she's got plenty of life left. Tere is ready to share her love, loyalty, and playful spirit with you.
Tere is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here or email adopt@ahsem.org

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
