My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ollie!

Ollie is described by his foster mom, "the best in the whole wide world"! Ollie is a super handsome 5 year old orange tabby.

Ollie is very sweet. He never stops purring, or making biscuits! Ollie doesn't mind being picked up - there's never enough pets for him.

Ollie has a sassy side to him as well. You will only see it if he gets overstimulated. He will give you a little nip to tell you he has had enough. Never hard enough to break skin or leave a mark.

Ollie would do well as an only cat but the person would have to have a schedule that allows for him to get lots of attention. He would be perfectly happy being someone's whole world.

Ollie has been around other cats. He doesn't seem to be interested in interacting with them and can be hissy initially. He would need a buddy who isn't looking for a constant playmate and slow introductions.

Ollie is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
