My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hola, soy Tres! Nice to meet you, I'm Tres! I came into the rescue with my sister Uno and my brother Dos after living outside. We were born around April 2023. We all love being around other cats, and we are very food motivated.

I would do best with a cat friend in my forever home to help me feel more confident. I could be adopted out to a home with an existing kitty, or go as a pair with one of my foster friends! I am a little shy when you first reach for me, but then I remember how much I love to be pet. My foster mom says I melt into a big cuddle puddle when I get pet.

I would like to live in a quieter home without loud noises and sudden movements because I am a easily spooked. I certainly have a lot of love to give!

Tres is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment. Additional adoption info

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
