Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Simone! She was found outside July 2023 very pregnant and very hungry.
Simone was just a small petite kitten herself begging for food. A nice lady found a rescue for Simone and she was able to give birth to 5 beautiful kittens safely that have all found their forever homes.
Now it is Simone's turn to find her forever home.
Simone is a very chill kitty who likes to play with you, sleep, eat, and play again - in that order. Her sweet, mellow nature makes her the perfect companion for those quiet, cozy nights in.
Despite her youth, Simone has a maturity about her that's truly endearing. She loves to play, but she also knows when it's time to relax and just enjoy the company of her human friends.
Simone gets along with other cats but can also do without them. She tends to be a loner unless there is a human around. Simone could do well with a cat roommate as long as they let her be. She seems to prefer humans over cats but isn't aggressive about it.
Simone thrives in a calm environment, where her loving personality can truly shine. Adopting Simone isn't just about giving a pet a home, it's about welcoming a new family member who will bring joy, love, and a touch of playful mischief into your life.
Simone is ready to meet you, are you ready to meet Simone?
Simone is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting her, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
