Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Velma came into our home as a burst of energy and light. Her tail hasn't stopped wagging since her first car ride "home". She is very active and inquisitive but loves her naps and quiet time too. At least once a day she will "see herself" into the other room and grab her favorite chair for a nap. The rest of the time she is either in her window seat orthisclosetoyourface. She loves human contact. Overall she is the sweetest, most affectionate and loving dog we've ever met. She has a LOT of energy but when she naps she naps hard. She's the goodest girl.
Likes:
Humans: this girl wants nothing more than to be on your lap, in your face, snuggling up to you. She is easily the most affectionate dog we've ever had.
George/Dogs: she takes care of her older brother George whose health isn't as great. She's super friendly to every dog she meets and is great in public settings.
Walks: she lives for them. She's a strong girl and pulls on the leash so a halti is recommended. She has a lot of energy so daily walks or a big yard is a must.
Car Rides: She loves riding shotgun and is the best co-pilot. Amazing in the car and it's a favorite pastime.
People watching: she will sit in the window for hours watching cars and people walking by; she will bark if they have a dog or if they loiter too long but she's getting better.
Children: she's been tested with older kids (8+) and was a face-licking bundle of joy; my only question would be younger kids as she doesn't know her own size and might knock them about.
Burrowing: give this girl a pile of blankets and she will entertain herself for a long time.
