Meet Jackson, a nearly 2 year old, 45 lb male Australian Cattle Dog mix who is crate trained, neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on shots. Jackson is a sensitive soul and is able to be both high energy or low energy. He absolutely loves to play fetch and frisbee and bounces around enthusiastically while he waits for the chase to begin. He knows basic obedience commands and walks well on loose leash. He has good recall. Jackson enjoys relaxing in his crate or on a raised bed. He also loves to be with his people. Jackson is the sweetest cuddle bug! He loves to snuggle while watching a tv or a movie. Jackson also enjoys playing with other dog friends after proper introductions have been made and he feels comfortable with his new friends. He often plays chase and king of the mountain with one of dogs in his foster home. Please consider offering him a furever home.

Since all rescue dogs live in foster homes, there is no single facility to meet pups.
You will need to contact Ewenity Farms HDH to make arrangements to meet the rescue dog after you have an approved app on file. Apps can be filled out at ewenityfarm.org

More about this rescue
We are a small, foster-based rescue organization located in Southwest Florida. Being small helps us give more one-on-one attention to individual dogs and their needs. Rescued dogs are kept in our homes and treated as our own. Herding dogs are unique. They are highly intelligent and require much of the owner’s attention. The dogs are evaluated, when they come into the rescue, for any temperament and health issues. Then they are given basic obedience, socialization and rehabilitation as it is necessary.
It is our sole purpose to find forever homes for these loving, wonderful dogs that have been discarded through no fault of their own. All adopted dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, heartworm negative, micro-chipped, and on flea and heartworm preventative.
