Meet Olive, our loving 6-year-old Dachshund mix with soulful brown eyes and a heart full of love. Olive is ready to find a new forever home after her previous owners sadly passed away. Weighing 49 pounds, Olive could benefit from a healthy diet to help her reach her ideal weight. Olive has a few fatty buildups on her back leg and neck area, but they do not cause her any mobility issues. These can be surgically removed if desired. Despite these minor health considerations, Olive's loving personality shines through in everything she does. Likely potty trained, Olive is a very sweet and affectionate dog who enjoys being close to her humans. Apply to adopt Olive for your next loyal and caring friend at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com
Olive’s adoption fee is $100.00 and includes first shots, worming, and sterilization. Optional microchipping and registration is available for an additional $20.00. Please fill out an adoption application at heberspringshumanesociety.com and a volunteer will contact you. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.

More about this shelter
Our orginzation was founded by Doug Bakko. Funds were raised to build the original shelter on land donated. The shelter has since been expanded using donations and fund raisers. We are the only Shelter in Cleburne County. Our operating funds come from our Thrift Shop, donations, fund raisers and some assistance from the city of Heber Springs, surrounding towns in Cleburne County. We work very hard keeping animals happy and healthy. We do this because we love animals and want to give them a safe haven and every chance possible to go to a loving home.
