Hello! My name is Lucy! I'm a sweet little lady. I'm shy around new people, but once I get to know you I will never leave your side. I walk walk well on a leash, I love my toys and treats. I know how to use a doggy door and am crate trained. I prefer to be the only female, but get along great with male dogs. Please come to the shelter today to meet and hopefully fall in love with me. All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.

Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.

Adoption Fees:

-$60 for dogs over 6 years
-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years

When you decide to adopt a pet, we charge a fee to cover some of our costs. (Except for 2 employees, all others are volunteers!) If there is any problem with your adopted pet, call us to work out a solution. Occasionally, we do take adopted pets back, but very seldom. This is why visiting our shelter is so important! We are willing to work with you! And we appreciate referrals!
