COURTESY POST: Dodger is trying to find a new home because his elderly owner could no longer take care of him and, luckily, his neighbor agreed to take Dodger in until a new home can be found. Dodger is a MaltiPoo who is about 2 years old and weighs 14 pounds. He gets along well with the two other dogs in his new foster home and loves to wrestle and play with the young female dog in the home. Dodger is house-trained and crate-trained and jumps into his crate when it's bedtime. He is a very smart dog and has very quickly learned commands at his new home. Dodger would probably do best in a home with another small dog who likes to play. Please note that we do not recommend Dodger to families with children under 5.

We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention.

All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
