My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sadly, Xena's owner had a stroke and can no longer care for her. She is a well behaved, house trained lady. She is good with other dogs but cannot be around cats. She loves riding on the Gator, in the tractor and running in the yard. She is around 6 years old and is fully vetted. She would be a great addition to any non cat family.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You can view the animals available for adoption on the Audrain Humane Society website or on Facebook at Pet Pals: Audrain Humane Society

When you find an animal you are interested in adopting submit an adoption application. The application will ask for basic information about you and your household, as well as your experience with pet ownership.

If your application is approved, you will be notified and a meet and greet scheduled where the adoption fees will be paid in full and the adoption contract signed.

Take your new pet home! The staff member will provide you with instructions on how to care for your new pet and will answer any questions you have.

Please note that the Audrain Humane Society may require additional steps in the adoption process, such as a home visit or a reference check.
