My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Syrax was born 4/6/23. She came to us with three kittens and it was not a good start for them, they had been taken to the shelter. She took a while to trust people and was very defensive of her little family. One of which had sustained injuries due to human handling. Thankfully he is good now and she was a really good mother to these week old babies. She now likes to be petted and knows she is in a safe place. You can meet Syrax at our Petsmart Harbison adoptions from 12-4 each Saturday.

Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC) is a no-kill,501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is four-fold: 1) to promote spay-neuter, 2) to restore stray animals to good medical health, before adopting them into permanent, loving homes, 3) to encourage Trap, Neuter, and Return(TNR) and, 4) to educate pet owners about their responsibilities as guardians for their companion animals.
