LINEN & THE LAUNDRY LITTER

Linen's story is one of resilience & hope. This gorgeous 2.5-year-old white terrier mix originally lived in a junkyard, raising two litters of pups all on her own. Stray Paws Rescue stepped in when her owners could no longer care for her or the other dogs. Thanks to a committed foster mom, Linen is now learning what it means to be loved and live indoors.

Our foster mom initially described Linen as the saddest dog she had ever fostered, but now, just in the past week, she's seen such light and happiness in her! Linen is horse, big chicken, cat, dog, and kid-friendly. She does want to chase quails and birds, though. She has no accidents in the house, sleeps with her foster mom every night, and has the BEST recall of any dog! She's 40 lbs of pure love and devotion, although she does NOT like baths!

Now, meet Linen's Laundry Litter - 10 absolutely adorable pups, nearly 11 weeks old and ready to find their forever homes! Some are snug in foster care, while others are eagerly waiting to join a foster or permanent family.

Their adoption process

1.
Submit Application

Fill out an adoption form found on the animal's profile at www.straypawsrescue.com

2.
Interview

Once the application is reviewed, it is sent to the foster and they will reach out to you in 1-3 days.

3.
Meet the Pet

The foster will set up a time and place for you to meet the pet. We will also need to meet your resident pets if you have them.

4.
Home Check

We will do a home visit to ensure the foster animal goes to the right home. We will call your landlord if you rent.

5.
Approve Application

We call all 3 references. If you have a resident pet, we will call their vet to confirm they are up to date on vaccinations & altered.

Additional adoption info

All adoption fees are payable the day the contract is finalized.
Please note our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies 6 months and younger - $325.00
Young adults 7 months-6 years - $300.00
Adults-Seniors: 7 years+ - $200.00
Cats and kittens - $150.00
Pair of kittens - $275.00

PLEASE NOTE OUR ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
By submitting this application there is no guarantee that we will place a dog or cat with you.
We only adopt to families within 50 miles of St. Louis, MO.

We do not have a shelter. We are foster based only.
All adoptions require a completed application

We are a 501c3 licensed non profit organization in St Louis, Missouri. We are foster based and have a passion for helping the animals who have been dumped and abandoned in St Louis city. We also work hard to help save those in high kill shelters that are scheduled to be euthanized. We believe in that all pets deserve a second chance and that there is a home for everyone.
