My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there, I'm Bullet! I'm a 6-year-old labrador mix with a big heart and a goofy personality. I came from a home where there was a new baby, and I wasn't quite sure how to handle all that. So, here I am, looking for a fresh start with someone who understands my quirks.

I've got a lot going for me-I'm crate-free because, well, crates really aren't my thing. They make me a little nervous, but hey, everyone has their hang-ups, right? What I do love is chasing squirrels, taking baths (yes, I actually enjoy those!), and hanging out with my people. I'm definitely a busy bee, so if you're looking for a dog who's always up for an adventure, I'm your guy. I lived with cats before, and I was cool with them-even if one wasn't a big fan of mine, I just ignored it. As for other dogs, I get along well with the ladies, but I'm not too sure about the boys, so a home with girl dogs would be ideal.

When it comes to walks, I'm a certified pro! I won't pull or drag you around-I'm happy to follow your lead. On our outings, I was curious about the geese but didn't get aggressive; I just like to observe. Strangers and other dogs make me a little cautious, but I keep my cool. You could say I'm polite with a hint of shyness in new situations, but with some time and patience, I warm up.

I'm really just looking for someone to love who can handle my quirks with patience and understanding. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who's always up for a bath and a good squirrel chase, then I might just be the perfect fit for you!
