Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Billie, a spirited, Staffy mixed female who is almost 2 years old and is the perfect medium size at 45 pounds. Her intelligence is matched only by her playful nature and her love for couch cuddles. Billie`s outgoing nature makes her a social butterfly, she`s always eager to make new friends and plays wonderfully with all sizes of other dogs. But it`s not always all play for this smart, beautiful girl. She thrives on mental stimulation, so she`ll need a family who can provide her with plenty of engaging activities and can keep her busy with a job or project to do. She is house trained and has great manners, but she would greatly benefit from (and likely enjoy) an obedience training class. Loyalty is at the core of Billie`s personality and she is sure to stay close to home. She walks well on a leash and never wants to leave your side. That being said, an invisible fence would be best suited for her rather than a physical one; or lots of leash walks, runs, or hikes. Adopting Billie means gaining a friend who will bring joy, loyalty, and a dash of adventure into your life. Providing her with a safe and stable forever home will be the most rewarding decision you could make!
Billie has been spayed, microchipped, and kept current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. You can email julianshumate@gmail.com with any questions or fill out an application here: https://humanesocietyofwilkes.org/adopt/application/julians. To ensure your application was received please email the foster home. You can expect an email response within a week of applying.
