My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Kitty
Nickname: Kit, Kitty gorl
Preferences: Adult only home, no other cats
Reason for being at BCHS: I was originally here for emergency boarding, but my family never came back for me.

Say Hello Kitty!
Kitty has been waiting since July 2024, watching days turn into months, wondering when it will finally be her turn. This sweet senior girl has so much love to give, but she’s learned that love doesn’t always mean being held tight—it means respect, patience, and a quiet understanding. She adores her people in her own way, greeting them with gentle headbutts and the softest purrs, but she needs someone who will let her set the pace. When her boundaries aren’t respected, she can get a little overwhelmed—who wouldn’t?

Kitty dreams of a peaceful home where she can be herself, free from tiny hands that don’t understand when she’s had enough. She’d be the perfect match for someone who appreciates a mellow, independent companion—someone who enjoys slow afternoons filled with cozy blankets, quiet conversations, and the occasional heartfelt meow. She’s quite the little chatterbox when she’s in the mood, happy to keep you company without ever being overbearing.

She doesn’t ask for much—just a calm place to rest her paws, a warm lap (on her terms, of course), and someone who will finally choose her. She’s been waiting so long. Will you be the one to give her the love she deserves? Kitty is ready to meet her forever friend—maybe it’s you.
