My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

(OLLIE IS NOT AT UPAWS! DO NOT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT).
He is in an Adoption Ambassador Foster home; all inquiries must be sent to the email below.
***Due to Ollie's Special Needs, he is NOT part of the TruNorth Event!***

Allow us to introduce you to the delightful Ollie who is eagerly searching for his forever home. This charming boy is a mix of Australian Shepherd and Husky, and he is four months old. Please take a moment to read his bio below:

Ollie (special needs boy): This little sweetheart is very special and needs a special person to devote his love to. Despite his young age, Ollie has already proven to be an exceptionally intelligent pup. However, it's important to note that Ollie is blind, which adds a unique aspect to his needs. Although it may require extra care and attention, living with a blind dog is a truly rewarding experience. Ollie is seeking a dedicated home that can provide him with the necessary support and guidance to thrive in life. By offering him a safe and loving environment, you can help Ollie lead a fulfilling and joyful life. Let's find this special boy the perfect home he deserves! #FindOllieAHome #SupportBlindDogs

Remember, adopting a puppy is a life-changing experience. By choosing adoption, you are not only giving these puppies a second chance at happiness but also opening your heart and home to a lifetime of love and companionship. Let's make their dreams come true! #AdoptDontShop #PuppyLove #ForeverHomes

More about this shelter

We are a local non-profit organization run and staffed by your neighbors. We make decisions on caring for homeless, unwanted, abandoned and abused domestic animals based on what we believe is best for them. We have no affiliation with any larger group and we receive no funding from any larger group that might influence our decisions or actions.

We advocate only for the animals in our care to help them find their forever home with you.

UPAWS does not receive operating funds from any governmental agency. We rely on donations from our neighbors and friends to make our efforts possible. We save consistently 98% of the animals who come to us – which is an award-winning success story. We want to educate everyone on proper animal care so there soon won’t be the three percent who come to us too sick or wounded to be saved. It’s your support that makes this dream possible.
