My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beautiful yin-yang face and a sweet personality, Gemini is a lovely tortoiseshell girl. She's friendly and she does like to sleep with her person. Pets are appreciated too. But she is not a demanding cat and is happy to give you love or give you personal space, whichever you need at the time.

Gemini was found outside on her own. Now in a home, she seems satisfied and has settled into the quiet pattern of life easily. But she very clearly does want to go outside again. Who doesn't on these beautiful summer days! She will need a good place to enjoy the natural world and explore a bit as natural cats love to do.

Gemini has been fine with the other cats and the friendly dog in the house. She is an easy kind of girl who will fit into any happy settled home and be a lovely part of the family. We think she is a young adult, maybe 2 or 3 years old. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898

Additional adoption info

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
