My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact the Cat Team (catapplications@graspinc.org) for more information about this pet.

DOB:  03/07/24

Eli has a solid dark grey/blue coat and loves spending time with his brothers (Cecil and Hugo) as well as the other resident cats in his foster home. He and his brothers came to GRASP as scared 3-month-old kittens and unfortunately in the time it has taken in foster care to socialize them, they have been overlooked with almost no interest or applications.

Eli has blossomed into a sweet, playful, curious, and energetic kitty who absolutely LOVES his favorite Buffalo Bills football wand toy (and any interactive playtime with his humans). He also enjoys being picked up and held if constant back rubs are involved and will purr non-stop for this. He is a little slow to warm up to new people, but will come around and be his happy social self soon after.

Eli is looking for a home with at least one other friendly kitty for him to bond with (or to be adopted with a brother or two). He has not met young children or dogs, and it is thought that he would not do well with either.

This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.

More about this rescue

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times. G.R.A.S.P., Inc. is a non-profit organization and is completely dependent upon donations from the public.
