Eli is a handsome dark gray/blue male kitten. He is sweet, playful, curious, and energetic. He loves spending time playing with his siblings (Hugo, Cecil, Beatrice), the other resident adult cats, as well as his foster humans, especially when they have wand toys and actively play with him. He enjoys tall cat towers, having access to lots of windows to watch birds from, being pet, and getting lots of treats and will purr up a storm for those things.

Eli can be a little slow to warm up to new people and will need some initial patience with this, but once he does he is so sweet. He has started to enjoy couch time with his foster humans and will happily curl up on the couch or in bed once his energy is out and he’s sleepy. He tolerates being picked up and held but it’s not his favorite yet. He can still be somewhat timid/unsure if approached too fast or with unpredictable movements, and with strangers.

Eli is looking for a home with folks who are somewhat experienced cat owners and are willing to help him continue to blossom in his confidence and trust in people. He is also looking for a home with either one of his siblings or other friendly cats in order to bond. He has not met children or dogs and it is unknown how he would handle either.

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized.
