Meet Bumble Bee (Bumble) with Plenty of Pit Bulls. We are not sure about her past, either abuse or lack of human interactions that turned this lovely gal into a timid and slow to trust being. However, once she trusts you and gets familiar with her surroundings, she is a loving, goofy, dog who is eager to please and quick to learn. Bumble will take treats and play with almost anyone while still keeping her do not pet me please rule. Bumble needs a trusting and patient human who will help her adjust to new environments (both in and around her home).
Bumble adores her cat brother and has learned to be braver when he is around. He helped her take her first leash walk, navigate the stairs and is helping her get used to her crate. Bumble is very gentle; she lets the cat eat her food (but has learned to not eat the cat’s food). She would benefit from a four-legged sibling to help her be brave, either a well-adjusted/friendly dog or a dog friendly cat. Bumble has made extraordinary progress over the last few months. Every day she gets a little braver, trusts a little more, and with patience she will continue to flower into the fantastic family dog she was meant to be.
