Hi there! I’m Sitka, a sweet husky mix on a quest to find my perfect match. At about 40 lbs and around 2 to 3 years old, I’m a gentle soul who truly thrives in low to medium energy environments. I might be a little shy when we first meet, but once you win my trust, I’ll be your loyal companion for life. There's nothing I won’t do for someone I can call my own. I’m crate trained and potty trained, so I'm ready to settle into your home with ease. I have medium energy levels, which means I enjoy a nice walk and some playtime, but I also love relaxing by your side. I’m just waiting for that special someone who can see my true potential and give me the love and patience I need. $25.00 ($5.00 Seniors 60 and over) for animals that have been sterilized prior to being brought in
A $5 City Registration for Rowlett residents will be added to the adoption fee

We host adoption events on the 2nd Saturdays of the month at PetSmart in Rowlett from 12pm - 3pm. Petsmart is located at 5709 Liberty Grove Rd Rowlett, TX 75089.

FRAs wishes to promote pet-friendly environments, services, and activities in Rowlett and surrounding communities.

Friends of Rowlett Animals (FRAs) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) Texas organization founded in 2004. FRAs is working to improve communication between the City of Rowlett Animal Services and the community. By partnering with our local animal shelters, networking with animal rescue groups, utilizing community resources and social media, as well as conducting off site adoption events and fund raisers, we are able to help increase animal adoptions.
