My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Belle

This little beauty is Belle! She weighs 47 pounds and is heartworm negative. She is already spayed and is ready to go home today! Belle was an owner surrender as the owner is not able to care for her as needed due to their work schedule.

Belle is said to be good with other dogs and kids of all ages. Cats are unknown as they had none, but she had positive interactions when introduced to one in a cage (video of this interaction is available). She enjoys playing fetch, chew toys and being a lap dog. They tell us she is very lovable and loves climbing on your lap, which we can attest to!

Belle is a smart girl. She knows the sit, stay, toy and down command. This sweet girl greets you with tail wags and lot's of doggy kisses. Belle walks good on leash and stays close by your side. Belle hopes you will see her profile and give her a home.

Additional adoption info

Adoption process:
Potential adopters complete our online application. From there, we contact them to continue the screening process including checking references, vet checks, and a personal phone interview. Upon completion, potential adopters are pre-approved.

From there, potential adopters are put in touch with the foster parent(s) of the dog they are interested in adopting. If a specific dog is not in mind, admins will make suggestions based on who we feel will be good candidates for their home. We take the foster's opinions into high consideration when determining ideal fit for an adoption.

Once the dog is determined to be a good fit for the adoptive home, the adopter is given advisement on decompression, training, safety gear, and future no preventative vetting. The adoption contract is signed and adoption fee paid to finalize the adoption.
