My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I adopted sweet Amara from a rescue organization on the Mexican border in Arizona over 2 years ago. She was found bloody and beaten as a young pup on the street in Mexico. An American soldier rescued her and nursed her back to health. The soldier got deployed and she went to a foster home. I have experience with larger dogs, but I really wanted a medium size dog, not a small dog.
Amara is fearful of strangers, but warms up quickly. She is not suitable to live in a noisy, busy household with other animals. She is quiet. She loves to hunt in her fenced in yard, but is equally happy on the couch all day. She can be left alone for several hours, (but not all day) uncrated. She has never been destructive or has she ever had any accidents ever, in the house. She is protective of her owners, but has never bitten anyone. Please google Beagleman. It is very informative.
It breaks my heart, but I can barely walk now and can not care for her properly.
