Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT AMBER & POPPY
Meet our gorgeous ginger sisters! Amber and Poppy are 1-year-old siblings seeking a home together. They came to HAP when they were found as strays by a local rescuer. Upon arriving, both were very sweet but clearly confused and scared to be in the shelter environment. With some patience and lots of love, they have opened up and blossomed into playful girls.
Amber is super social and affectionate. She often takes the lead, while Poppy hangs back to observe her surroundings first. Poppy is the more shy of the two and can usually be found curled up on her bed. She appreciates a nice nap, window watching the birds, and hanging with other cats. As the more outgoing gal, Amber enjoys playing with toys, lying in your lap, and head scratches. Both girls have done well with other cats!
If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
