My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I can go home today!

I'm an independent kitty who likes to do my own thing.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I love to be loved, but on my own terms! Let's brush up on some feline body language together!

My favorite pastime is being visually admired! Pet me with your eyes!

My foster writes: Sahara is a sweet couch potato who likes to spend her days napping by the window so she can people/bird watch.
While it may take some time to gain Sahara's trust, she is not a shy lady! She is curious to meet new people and is quick to greet guests with some legs rubs and purrs, eager to receive some pets. Although, she can get a bit excited at times and will let you know when she's had enough.
She's an independent kitty who likes to do her own thing. Sahara is not a lap cat necessarily but when she's in the mood for it, she will come over for the occasional biscuits and chest sits and it's the sweetest thing ever!
Sahara would thrive with a family who would respect her boundaries, be understanding of cats independent nature and have the patience to gain her trust. She is a purring machine who will greet you with excitement when you come home!
