My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am finding the shelter a bit overwhelming. Outside one-on-one I am a great big cuddle bug.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!

My foster writes: Felix is a calm and quiet older cat who takes a bit of time to warm up. He can be shy and reclusive at first bit once you give him his space, he will come curl up at your feet for warmth. He doesn't love being held or being pet at first but once he warms up, he loves some head and chin scratches while he naps at your feet. He is very treat motivated and loves a good snack during play time. He loves to sun bathe and bird watch by the window every day. Felix would thrive in a calm home with adults.
