My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am finding the shelter a bit overwhelming. Outside one-on-one I am a great big cuddle bug.

I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.

I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I prefer to call the shots and enjoy coming to you when I'm ready for pets.

I will need daily physical activity to keep me healthy and happy!

My foster writes: Felix is an adorable cat with lots of energy. You'll need to make sure you schedule play time at least twice a day for him to burn all of his energy. When he's ready to relax he loves to lay under his favorite chair or at the foot of the bed. When he's feeling really sweet he will lay on top of your feet for warmth. The window is his favorite place to be! He will sit there for hours watching the birds and enjoying the nice breeze. He is very independent and slow to trust so you will need to be very patient with him. He loves to lay inside of paper bags and cardboard boxes! He will only allow you to pet him on his terms but he loves to brush up on my legs whenever i arrive home. He loves his peace and quiet so he would really benefit from a calm household.
