Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Little Chap is a darling 14 lb. 3.5 year old Poodle. He was brought to a shelter in central California by an animal control officer in pain from an injury which we assume involved a car. A volunteer at the shelter found him in that condition after 3 days where he couldn't eat or drink and she reached out to the rescue community. We had him taken to a vet clinic where x-rays showed a femoral luxation which required an FHO surgery. This amazing little guy is so brave and sweet - it's impossible to overstate how good he is. Little Chap's coat was in terrible shape and full of fox tails so a close grooming was necessary but his poodle coat is growing in beautifully. He is now almost 3 weeks post surgery and doing great. He is using that leg more and more and we are certain he will have a fully functioning leg. He really likes leisurely walks, is terrific traveling in the car and is a perfect little gentleman in the house. He is nice around the other dogs in his foster home but we think he would love to have a person to connect with and have time with. He is fostered in the Seattle area. If you are interested in meeting Little Chap please email fkrokower@msn.com and we will send you our adoption application. We will be in touch as soon as it is returned. Thank you.
