My name is Duchess!

Hi, I'm Duchess! I'm a smart and resourceful kitty who's settling into the indoor life beautifully. I love having a cozy spot to call my own, tasty food to enjoy, and a warm bed to snuggle in. My favorite time of day is when my foster mom sits on the floor to pet me—I’ll even rub against her leg to ask for more attention!

I’m a fan of scratching posts and always use my litterbox like the well-mannered lady I am. While I’m still learning to trust new people and can be a little shy at first, I’m sure to blossom with patience and a calm environment. I’m not a big fan of being picked up, but maybe that will change over time as I continue to build my confidence.

I’d love to have another cat friend in my forever home—they help me feel more secure and show me the ropes. I haven’t met kids yet, so I’d probably do best in a quieter home where I can adjust at my own pace.
