You may have learned in school that the mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell, but did you know... Mitochondria is also the powerhouse of the mouse hunters? This fierce girl is a retired momma whose kittens have already been adopted. She can't wait to stretch her legs and exercise her skills in a new territory!

Our working cats are looking to provide poison-free pest control in exchange for food and shelter. These professionals are not adoptable as indoor pets, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve a second chance. As experts in their field, their ideal workplaces include barns, breweries, wineries, garden centers, farms, food pantries, and warehouses. All cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. You can hire working cats on a walk-in basis at 14 Forever Friend Lane from 10:00-4:00, Tuesday-Saturday!

Adoptions are completed in person on a first-come, first-served basis (except for large barnyard pets). No appointment is needed for animals at the Adoption Center. You will meet with our adoption counselors to find the best match for you!
