Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Lilo is a brave young pup who is coming out of her shell and learning that not only does she REALLY enjoy snuggles, laps, and scritches, but that there are kind people who will give her the care and cuddles she’s been longing for! One of Lilo’s volunteer friends shared:
“It`s wonderful to see the great advances Lilo has made in her time in the shelter. When I first met her a few weeks ago, she was pretty nervous. Now when she sees me she comes to the front of her kennel, ready for an easy leash up and wanting to go outside with me. When I get her to the outside gate, she sits and waits patiently for me to get the gate open and then heads out. Sometimes I walk her and other times I take her to a large yard where she can run free with no leashes attached. She seems to really enjoy that freedom. She’ll run around having fun but always comes over to check in with me. She is definitely one who loves scratches and belly rubs. She hasn`t mastered “sit” yet but sure loves treats and human touch. When it’s time to head back (which is hard to do because I have become so fond of this sweet girl) she leashes up easily, waits patiently at the gate and away we go. She is a wonderful pup who deserves to have someone in her corner cheering for her. She truly is a loving pup. Come meet this sweet doggy at PACC and see her potential for yourself.”
A staff member recently said, “Lilo came and sat right beside me to allow lots of back scratches. She eventually ended up on my lap and pawed at me to continue touching her.”
This sweet little girl has mostly kept to herself during playgroup and needs to meet any potential furry roommates before heading home. If you have a calm and patient household for this pint-sized pup, come meet Lilo today!
