Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Smiley is a Spaniel/Australian Shepherd Mix, a neutered male who weighs about 40 lbs. and is a year old. He is a tricolor.
Smiley is a sweet boy looking for a safe place to land. He previously lived on a farm; he is now learning how to be a good house dog. Smiley loves sleeping on beds! He also loves other dogs and kids. He is house-trained and is up to date on vaccinations. He would do really well with another dog in the home. He is a little weird about eating; because of his past and foraging for himself, he didn’t seem to understand that the food put out for him was really FOR him. Once he figured it out, he loved it and now enjoys being fed regularly. He would do really well with some basic training as he is a very smart boy.
The reason he is called Smiley is because he smiles at you when you come in the door. It is so cute; he is so happy.
To meet Smiley, contact Dana: 760-519-5532; dkmikel@gmail.com. Smiley is being fostered in the Carlsbad area of San Diego County.
