My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Spring, a young feline resident of our shelter. She`s a shy one, preferring to observe the world from a safe distance. But don`t let her timidity fool you; she`s fiercely independent, finding joy in exploring her surroundings on her own terms. Her curiosity is endless, constantly seeking out new experiences and places to play. Despite her playful side, Spring is mellow and gentle. She`s still adjusting to her new environment, but each day, she becomes more comfortable. Spring embodies the perfect blend of independence and affection. Her curious and playful nature will keep you entertained, while her mellow and gentle demeanor will provide a soothing presence. Welcoming Spring into your home will not only give her the loving environment she deserves, but also bring a touch of joy and tranquility to your life.

More about this shelter

The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
