My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mia is a Border Collie/Dalmation? mix, about 40 lbs. and 2 years old. She was abandoned by her family when they moved. We have had her spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated!

Mia says: “ I love people of all kinds, older kids & adults alike. I enjoy having a young, mellow dog who is my size to play with. My foster family is teaching me to live harmoniously with cats. I’m very smart, learn quickly and have lots of personality! My foster family is teaching me to walk well on a leash. Chasing balls and playing are some of my favorite activities! I sleep well at night, snuggled in my crate or dog bed!

I’d love to be in a home where someone is around most of the time, or can take me to work. I’m very energetic, so need an active person or family. I’d love to snuggle on the couch with you or even on your lap! My foster family says I‘m a really cool dog to have in the family!”

For my protection and your peace of mind, I do need a securely fenced yard. My adoption fee is $85.

To keep our expenses as low as possible, so that we can rescue more shelter dogs & cats, we prefer to find loving homes for our rescued animals within the Eugene/Springfield or surrounding areas whenever possible. Thank you for considering adopting a rescued dog!
