My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I’m Sk8er Girl, a one-year-old shepherd mix with a name as cool as my personality! I’ve got a zest for life and a playful energy that’s perfect for an active family looking for a smart and kind dog to keep them on their toes. I’ll admit, I was a little too curious about the chickens in my last home, but hey, I’m a herding breed mix—curiosity comes with the territory! With some positive training and supervision, I promise I’ll channel that energy into more productive pursuits.

I’m a busy bee who loves to play with just about anything, from squeaky toys to sticks I find on walks. Speaking of walks, I’m always up for an adventure! I’ve lived with other dogs before and did great with them, so I’d love a furry sibling to pal around with. I also enjoy being around kids, but because I’m still young and full of energy, I might be a bit too bouncy for the littlest ones. With older kids who can join in my playtime, we’d be an unbeatable team.

I’m pretty sharp and already know commands like "cage," "sit," and "down." I’m eager to learn more with a little one-on-one time and encouragement. Training is a game to me, and I’m ready to show off how quickly I can pick up new tricks! I might be hyper at times, but my big heart and willingness to learn make me a wonderful companion for anyone who enjoys an active lifestyle.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, smart, and endlessly loyal dog to join your family, I’m your girl. Let’s hit the ground running and create some amazing memories together!
