For The Cats' Sake
Kimba has come such a long way since she came to us and has endured so much. She was left alone in her home for about six months after her owner went into a nursing home, with someone only coming by to feed her. During that time, she would hide constantly. When she first arrived with us, she was so terrified that she buried herself under a blanket in her cage. We believe the stress caused her eyes to develop ulcers, and we had to spend $1400 at the eye specialist to save her vision. Thankfully, she can see something now. Kimba has become much friendlier and braver, but she would thrive in a quiet home with unconditional love and patience. We are confident that with the right environment, Kimba will continue to relax and become even friendlier. Could you be the one to give Kimba the loving home she deserves?
ONLINE ADOPTION FORM: https://form.jotform.com/81848821130152
We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group of at least $80. On average, we spend $200 to cover food, litter, spay/neuter, testing, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care or medicine needed. Adopters donate $80 or more, as they choose, to cover cat's expenses, and help our rescue continue to treat and find homes for more cats. This flexible policy makes it possible for people to adopt more than one cat or multiple barn cats. â¨â¨ CAT EXPENSES:⨠Spay/neuter $75 to $150. â¨Rabies and FVRCP $50. â¨Test for FiV and FeLV $35. â¨Microchip $25 (adopter registers for life for $30) â¨Wellness check at vet $50. â¨Flea treatments and deworming $40. â¨Any additional vet care or medications needed.⨠Food and litter $40 upwards, depending on time of stay.
