Lego can be stubborn and strong willed at times so a more experienced dog family would be best for him.  Especially a family that wants to take him thru obedience training.  Lego would thrive with that kind of training. 

Lego came to us from the Nevada  Animal  shelter. He is a gorgeous looking puppy.  He has beautiful eyes. Lego loves other dogs but he can play rough with the ones smaller then himself.  He would be a great playmate for a medium or large size dog.  Lego loves water! He has to put his paws in the water dish if not watched.  We have a kid size plastic pool that he loves to play in.  Lego will do great with most any family. Lego definitely sounds more like a hound when he barks!

Puppies are NOT housebroken and should not be expected to wait more than 1 hour for each month of age to go out to potty. Please make sure that you have a “potty plan” in place if considering adoption.

All of our puppies have been spay/neuter, wormed, microchipped, and given age appropriate vaccinations. If you are interested in meeting/adopting one of them just fill out a application at www.furrykidsrefuge.org, click on the 'Adopt A Dog' icon and a dedicated volunteer will be in touch. 

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
