Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ADOPTION and HEARTWORM TREATMENT SPONSORED ❤️🔥
This handsome blockhead is Dozer. We took him on the trail and he did fantastically well walking on the leash with no reaction to bikers, walkers, runners, or dogs. Dozer is around 2 yrs old and a happy dude with energetic excitement. He gets excited easily and can be "mouthy" when first getting out of the kennel, but he does calm down very well after a few minutes outside and some exercise. He would benefit from daily exercise and stimulation, and an experienced owner who can work on some basic training and manners.
Due to his strength, weight and excitability it would be best if Dozer went to a home with no small children just to prevent accidental knock downs. Same with dogs, while he is very friendly, some dogs may not want a raptor in their face until he learns to tone it down.
Dozer's wellness exam checked out great besides pesky heartworms. He will require treatment for his heart worms which is a pretty simple fix. Treatment cost has been sponsored at the veterinarian of the adopter/rescue's choice. We will coordinate payment directly to the vet's office.
His adoption is also sponsored to the right adopter/rescue, and includes: DAPP and rabies vaccine, heartworm test (positive), fecal and dewormer, wellness exam, and A NEUTER!!
This buddy is a gem in the making!
