My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cyprus is a 3 year old male weighing about 55 pounds. One day Cyprus overheard perspective adopters comment that they thought he was a nice dog, but they didn't want a pit bull. This confused and hurt Cyprus terribly. We had to do something, so here is what we did. I told Cyprus he is a designer breed called a pitamation. See all his spots! He now believes how special he is. Come meet our pitamation. You will not be disappointed! Cyprus is up to date on all vaccines and will be neutered, micro chipped, given a heart worm test and rabies shot upon adoption. His adoption fee is $100 Transportation assistance is

Additional adoption info

Perspective adopters can find our dogs on Petfinder or social media or by just coming to the shelter. Upon choosing a dog to adopt, they will be interviewed and if the dog appears to fit their needs, the adoption will take place. If the dog is already altered, they can go home that day. If not yet altered, a vet appointment will be scheduled and the adopter can pick their dog up from the vet the day of the surgery.

More about this shelter

We are a regional shelter servicing two rural counties in Kentucky. Our shelter supports animal control and when space allows, owner surrenders. We utilize foster homes and rescues to house our dogs in addition to the kennels in our shelter. We make every effort to place our dogs in responsible loving homes.
