DG somehow managed to run into our local Dollar General and hid under one of the coolers. It took our volunteers almost 2 hours to catch him. He appeared feral for the first few days, because he was so very scared. Thankfully once he calmed down his sweet nature came back, and we realized he is very affectionate. He’s just a tiny guy, but somehow, in his past, he lost most of the toes on his back foot, but this had healed over by the time we got him.
He is now living with ghost, and they are best buds.
All our young kittens are required to be adopted in pairs (or to homes with other cats or kittens) to prevent Single Kitten Syndrome. There are many benefits to adopting two kittens, including: One kitten can become bored and lonely Two kittens will keep each other busy and out of trouble Having two kittens is very entertaining! You will have fewer behavioral issues with two kittens You will help TWO babies get out of a shelter instead of one, and make room for us to help more! Our adoption fees are reduced for a second kitten. :)If you are interested in adopting this pet, please go to www.midwestpetrefuge.com/adopt to complete an application. If you have any questions, please email us at adopt@MidwestPetRefuge.com
