This cool cat is ALL good vibes! When you first meet Ember, he locks eye contact with you and his eyes say “I see you.” He then proceeds to rolling over, like a dog, to get belly rubs!! His presence emanates a wonderful calmness. If a little disagreement comes up with another cat, Ember always says “peace and love, peace and love!” and steps aside avoiding any conflicts. We communicate with all adopters for the first 3 weeks of the animal being homed. Give tips, help ensure successful adoption. That communication will continue if issues arise as long as needed

We are located 2.5 miles south of Williamsburg NM on highway 187.

Desert Haven Animal rescue is a No-Kill animal rescue located in Sierra County NM. We operate under Sierra County Humane Society and are a 501 (c)(3). We have a 5 acre property that houses our animals and an RV park where work campers can live for free in exchange for caring for our animals.
