My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hiiii! I'm Cookie! The good folks at Desert Haven have been waiting about a month to launch my Petfinder listing because first they wanted to make sure I felt good and comfy with all sorts of puppy-doggin. Puzzled, I asked them, "What is puppy-doggin?" And they replied, "Well honey, it is getting leashed for fun walks, playing with toys, relaxing for snoozes, getting petsies, being loved and showing love, and just generally enjoying life as a well-loved puppy-dog!"

Without hesitation I barked, "That is exactly what I want!" So, I've been spending some time in a sort of Doggy Rehab where I learned so much! This new and improved Cookie loves being with a variety of people, I am a master at Toy Play, I go on sniffaris on my leash, and I even snuggle in for petsies! And now that I have a great foundation built I am ready to join my new home and continue all my lessons with my new family.

Here are some of the things that are my favorites. TOYS! Oh boy, I love to play with toys! I like the squeak kind, to fetch balls (I even will bring it back to you!), and to chew chew chew on all sorts of toys and bones. (Remember I'm just a puppy at 7 months of age.) I also adore going on walks. So much to sniff and learn when I'm out walking on my leash. When I see a lizard zip by I get so excited!!

I also love CATS! I think they are fun to sniff and be around. Cats are cool and they like me too. I give off a good energy to them and they don't want to run from me the cats here at Desert Haven come over to me to check me out. It's so funny! One cat named Jack Jack jumped on me the other day and I was like, "What are you doing sir?" and he replied, "This is my play style!" And I said ok and we played. What a funny cat!

Well, what I've learned in my lessons is that life is grand and I'm here for it! Thank you Desert Haven! Lately, I've been thinking about what is most important for my future family to know about me. And it's that I'm lovable. I have so much love in my tiny body and my big heart is inside my little chest like a min volcano ready to erupt and when we are family my love lava will pour out all over you! Love you, Cookie
