Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. Bianca is 8yo, weighs 65lbs, is intact, is not up to date on her vaccinations, and is not microchipped. Bianca's guardian adds: "She dislikes any animals near her food, dislikes her nails being clipped; never home alone during the day; she has the freedom to roam or she will sit in her crate; she sleeps either in her crate or on her bed pillow; she gets very excited and will jump all over the car, so I would suggest having her in a crate if taking a car ride. She does not respond to the word 'sit'; she only responds to the word 'cease'. She is a jumper. She likes to jump on people and wrap her paws around them like she is hugging."
Bianca's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome her:
| "She is getting older and I just dont have the time to give her the attention that she deserves. I am also having financial trouble that is preventing me from keeping her up on her vet visits, vaccines etc." | | |

| "She does not like her nails clipped. I have been unable to clip them for a very long time and they desperately need it. I contacted a vet to ask if they could put her under anesthesia in order to clip her nails, but the cost I could not afford. She also has a lump on her stomach. It seems to be a cyst of some sort but I have not been able to afford a vet visit to find out exactly what it is. I just need her to go to someone that can really give her the care she deserves." | | |
Bite incident: In September 2023, in Odenton, Bianca bit another dog when it got close to her food while eating; the bite didn't break the skin; animal control was not involved; medical attention was not sought. Bianca's guardian explains:
| "She has never bit/scratched/attacked a human but she is very territorial when it comes to her food. We had another dog that got too close to her bowl and she bit him. It did not break the skin, and he seemed to be fine afterwards. She shows no aggression towards the human handling her food, only towards other animals that get near her food." | | |

2. When your application is received, a Placement Manager will do a basic screening. Applications will be forwarded to the owner for further screening and continuation in the adoption process.
