DISCLOSURE: The adoptable pets in our program are still in the care and custody of owners who wish to re-home their pet. Owners have enlisted Rescue Well to provide marketing and screening of applicants as a service, free of charge. All fees and adoption conditions are determined by the owner. We advise that adopters do not send payment or deposits for pets prior to adopting.

Diesel is 3yo, weighs 85lbs, is intact, is not up to date on his vaccinations, and is not microchipped.  Diesel's guardian adds:  "He knows commands such as 'sit', 'come here', 'drink water', 'eat'; he spends 6 hours/day alone; during the day and at night, he's kept in his crate; he's good during car rides."

Diesel's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him:  "Allergic to long-haired dogs."

Diesel's guardian states the following regarding children:  Since Diesel lives with an 8yo child, Diesel's guardian recommends his living with children, but Diesel hasn't been around children outside the home.

Diesel's guardian states the following regarding dogs:  Since Diesel lives with a dog, his guardian recommends his living with dogs, but Diesel hasn't been around dogs outside the home.

Diesel's guardian states the following regarding cats:  Since Diesel doesn't live with nor otherwise been around cats outside the home, Diesel's guardian doesn't recommend his living with cats.

Diesel's guardian describes his ideal future home:

"Diesel deserves a home where he is able to be free, whether it be outside or inside.  He is a very good dog, but he deserves a family that can provide training to bring out his German shepherd qualities.  He deserves a family that has the time for him.  We work and travel and it does not allow us to have the time to cater to him.  And definitely a family that is not allergic."

ADOPTION PROCESS

2. When your application is received, a Placement Manager will do a basic screening. Applications will be forwarded to the owner for further screening and continuation in the adoption process. 

3. Please give us 48-72 hours for a Placement Manager to respond after you submit your application. If it has been longer than that, please email:  rescuewellrehome@gmail.com
