My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Name: Gaston

Breed: Lab/Pointer Mix

Gender: Male

About Gaston: Gaston is a 4-year-old Lab/Pointer mix with boundless energy and a heart of gold! This friendly guy loves to be on the move, whether it’s taking long walks, playing fetch, or running with joy. Gaston’s enthusiasm for life is matched only by his friendliness towards people and other dogs.

Good on a leash and well-behaved in the car, Gaston is ready to join you on all your outdoor escapades. He’d thrive in a home that loves adventure and has plenty of time for playtime. Ideally, he’d love a family with another dog to play with and kids who can keep up with his zest for life.

Rescued from the streets of Tlajomulco, Gaston was found skinny and searching for food, but his noble and kind spirit remained intact. Now, he’s looking for a forever home where he can share his energy and affection with a family that loves the great outdoors as much as he does.

They are currently in Mexico awaiting a family committed to a 10-day trial. If interested, please apply at www.northwestwagrescue.org. The adoption fee is $550 and includes up-to-date vaccines, a negative heartworm test, spaying/neutering, and microchipping.
