Sofia is a little lady who comes with a big personality. We’re not always sure what she’s saying, but we know it’s probably not as dramatic as it sounds. Her cries for assistance when you pick her up sound like she’s being catnapped, but her limp body reveals she’s just playing coy. Try talking back to her and see how much of a convo she’ll carry.
Sofia becomes one of the more engaging and interactive kitties we have come across after giving her a few days to warm up to her caregiver. She might pretend she’s going to smack you at first but we’ve learned that, much like her back talk, it’s all an act. She will let you know when she’s had enough but won’t ever leave a mark in doing so.
While she’s not clingy or in your face, she often likes to be within reach or at least keeping her eye on you - that is when she’s not napping in a safe spot. At night she becomes a cuddle bug and will curl up on your lap or join you on the bed as you wind down, if you allow her.
This gal is a young adult and still likes to play. She’ll impress you with her string toy acrobatics and entertain herself by chasing stuffies around, which might show up at the foot of your bed as offerings.
We’ve confirmed that Sofia does not at all vibe with other kitties or house pets and needs to be the queen of your home, which she will reign with affection and fairness.
Sofia is available to meet by appointment only.
Sofia was born approximately April 25, 2022, and her adoption fee is $105. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.
