Lexus's Lizzy is about 5 yrs old and weighs about 13 lbs. She was adopted as a puppy 5 yrs ago but returned due to work schedules. More will be known about me soon.
FROM MY FOSTER: She plays with doggie toys and likes to play fetch and tug. She will run in circles when she’s happy or being playful. She gets along well with the two small dogs in the foster home. She’s friendly and curious. She’s neither destructive nor aggressive.
She’s a very shy girl and takes a while to warm up but when she does, she’s your little best friend. She’s food motivated and not picky at all. She LOVES plushy toys that squeaks. She loves to play fetch but is not a fan of balls, only the plush toys. She also LOVES the kong toy. Stuff it with some treats and peanut butter and she will entertain herself for hours. She is also a heavy licker, any opportunity she had she will shower you with kisses.
Lizzy is extremely afraid of unusual or loud noises. She will do best in a home with a backyard. She is not the biggest fan of walks as she gets nervous from the sounds of cars or anything loud that she hears when she’s outside. She will refrain from going to the bathroom if she’s uneasy in anyway and she needs grass. She requires lots of patience and does show signs of separation anxiety. So she would do best in a home with another dog so she can have a buddy.
She does become nervous and fearful at loud or unusual noises. She’s not been around children, cats or large dogs in her foster home, so don’t know how she will react to those situations. She appears to be potty trained in her foster home.
She has so much love to give. She even has a heart on her coat to prove it. She wants to be near her human at all times and loves scratches and belly rubs. She will give the sweetest little kisses in return for all the attention she gets.
