My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Talia, a 2 year old found roaming the streets, pregnant and alone. She came to us very frightened, stressed, and unhappy. We rescued her just in time, as her five babies were born 36 hours after she arrived. Talia was a wonderful mother and very protective of her babies. She’s made great strides and is a sweet and gentle soul, embracing the comforts of home. Talia can be found cuddling with her daughter, Penne, in the top of her cat tower or in her foster’s lap, but she will always come running for treats. She loves to play and enjoys lots of scratches. Talia and Penne need to be adopted and grow old together. It really gives Talia the security she needs to make her transition into a new home much easier. They play together and sleep together. She’s learned to trust her foster family and is always cuddling and purring and wanting to be wherever they are. She’d probably prefer a quiet home where she will soon learn to trust her new family, and no time and completely melt your heart. Talia and Penne will make your life magical. They deserve a wonderful home filled with love. She probably wouldn’t do as well with young children just because she needs a quieter home.

All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped, tested for FIV/FELV , and up to date on vaccinations including rabies, distemper, and de-wormer.

You can meet some of our adorable cats and kittens during store hours at PetSmart, 385 Haggerty Rd. in Commerce Township.

If you are interested in adopting one or more of our lovable cats, please complete an Adoption Application form which can be found on our website at   www.locrami.com under Forms/Applications.

More about this rescue

We branched off of another rescue group in Oct of 2015, in order to concentrate solely on cats and kittens. We are a 501c3 foster-based group of dedicated volunteers, and our mission is finding homes for stray, abandoned, no longer wanted cats and kittens. We are a foster-based Rescue, meaning we have no brick and mortar facility. All our cats are cared for by foster caregivers in loving homes. We give medical help to sick and injured cats as needed. Donations, grants, and adoption fees are our sole means of income for our group. Volunteers are always welcomed and needed.
